Note: The opening statement below establishes the legal party for this entire package. When these are split into separate published pages (Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Refund Policy), this same opening should be repeated at the top of each individual document.
Opening Statement (applies to all documents below)
These Terms apply to the Certificate in Transformative Travel Design (‘CTTD,’ ‘the Certificate,’ or ‘the Course’), a program created and delivered by Suzanne Yvette McPherson Gomez, professionally known as Zani McPherson, trading as Wanderloving Travel (‘I,’ ‘me,’ or ‘the Company’). By enrolling, you (‘you,’ ‘the Traveler,’ or ‘the Participant’) agree to these Terms.
1. Privacy Policy
What data is collected:
- Waitlist signups: name and email
- Vetting call details: whatever personal information arises in that conversation
- Full enrollment data: travel document information, emergency contacts, dietary needs,
health or mobility disclosures relevant to the trip’s physical demands - Payment details: handled by [payment processor, to be named], not stored directly
- Photos and video taken during the Morocco trip, used for future marketing with signed
consent (see Terms & Conditions) - Website cookies and analytics
- Current tools: Google Docs and Google Sheets (waitlist and email list). Google is a
US-based data processor; GDPR requires this to be disclosed, and requires Google’s
Data Processing Addendum to be active on the account.
Data retention:
- If, after our conversation, we conclude together that this isn’t the right moment or the
right fit, I retain your information for 30 days. - If we determine together that you’re a strong match but timing doesn’t align with the
current cohort, I retain your information for up to 24 months so I can inform you of future
openings.
2. Terms & Conditions
Selection process: Not open enrollment. A private conversation precedes any commitment.
Physical requirements: Formalized acknowledgment of the walking, terrain, and accessibility realities already stated in the FAQ (uneven medina cobblestone, Sahara dunes, and kasbahs without elevators).
Use of “Journey Weaver” and “CTTD”: Graduates who use the title ‘Journey Weaver’ or reference their CTTD certification in their own professional work are expected to uphold the same integrity, cultural respect, and ethical practice this certificate represents. This is a matter of shared trust and reputation within the Journey Weaver community.
Curriculum and Field Guide IP: The Field Guide and all curriculum materials remain my exclusive intellectual property. Graduates may not reproduce, adapt, quote, or incorporate any explicit course content, materials, frameworks, or language into any other course, program, or product, whether free or paid. Graduates are free to apply their own personal insights, reflections, and learning, in their own original words, to their own work and practice.
Travel insurance: Required, covering medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability.
Photo/video consent: Required, via signed consent form, for use in future marketing.
Code of Conduct: Incorporated by reference, see Section 3.
3. Code of Conduct
Respecting Moroccan law and custom: As a guest in Morocco, you are expected to comply fully with local laws throughout the journey. Alcohol is legal for tourists but may only be purchased and consumed in licensed venues, hotels, bars, and restaurants, never in public spaces, and always in moderation, as a guest in a culture where it holds little place in daily life.
All other drugs are strictly illegal in Morocco, with severe legal penalties including imprisonment. I hold zero tolerance for illegal drug use during the journey. You are personally and fully responsible for your own compliance with Moroccan law. I am not liable for any legal, financial, or personal consequences arising from your failure to comply with local laws or customs.
Community standards, throughout the entire course: Every participant, in Morocco and
across the full duration of the course, is expected to engage with maturity, kindness, and compassion toward fellow travelers, guides, hosts, and the communities we visit. I hold zero tolerance for persistent negativity, antagonism, sabotage, or aggression of any kind, verbal or physical, directed at any other person. I reserve the right, at my sole discretion, to remove any participant from the course for violating this policy.
Revocation of certification: I reserve the right to revoke a graduate’s certification and use of the ‘Journey Weaver’ title if credible evidence of a Code of Conduct violation, or conduct that seriously undermines the integrity, safety, or reputation of the CTTD community, comes to my attention, whether during the course itself or in a graduate’s later professional practice. Upon revocation, the participant forfeits the right to represent themselves as CTTD-certified or as a Journey Weaver and is no longer considered part of the CTTD community.
4. Refund Policy
A deposit of 25% of your total course fee secures your place in the Course.
Part One: 7-Day Decision Window
Once your deposit is received, you have 7 days to change your mind, for any reason, and receive a full refund, no questions asked. During this window, you’ll receive access to the welcome content, program orientation, community introduction, and syllabus overview, so you can get a genuine feel for the CTTD community and structure. This window does not include access to the CTTD curriculum content itself, since the heart of this certificate is built on lived experience first. After 7 days, your deposit becomes non-refundable, and the terms below apply.
Part Two: Trip Terms & Cancellation Schedule
Payment: Full payment of the remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before departure.
Missing this deadline may result in cancellation without refund. A payment plan is available
upon request.

How to Cancel: Notice Requirements
To cancel at any point, during the 7-day window or afterward, notify me in writing by email to hello@wanderlovingtravel.com. Your cancellation date is the date I receive your written notice.
Emergencies: For serious medical or family emergencies, send documentation as soon as possible for a compassionate review. Approval isn’t guaranteed, but every request is read with absolute care.
Cancellation due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances: If you must cancel due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond your control, serious illness, natural disaster, or similar, you’re entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, minus any non-refundable costs already committed to third parties.
Cancellation or changes by me: If I cancel or must significantly change the trip for reasons other than your conduct, I will notify you in writing by email to the address on file, as soon as reasonably possible. You will receive a full refund, processed within 14 days, or the option of new dates if available.
Travel insurance: Required (see Terms & Conditions).
Insolvency protection: I maintain insolvency protection through a seguro de caución (guarantee insurance), registered with the tourism authority of Asturias, ensuring your payments are protected in the event the business is unable to operate. Policy details available on request.”
Complaints During the Morocco portion of the training: If something isn’t right, speak with me directly during the trip so I can try to resolve it. During any portion of the course, written complaints will be acknowledged within 7 days and receive a substantive response within 60 days.
